The Garden Group
What is The Garden Group?
The Garden Group is our ministry for children aged 12 months to three years old. It’s a welcoming, nurturing space where little ones begin their journey of discovering who God is in an environment suited to their age and stage.
Each Sunday during the service, we begin by joining Discovery Land for their time of worship, before splitting off into our own group. Parents can stay with their children for a short Bible story, a simple Scripture, and time for fellowship with other families.
We use the Walkers lessons from the Discovery Land curriculum, helping children learn to Know Right, Think Right, and Do Right through songs, play, and gentle guidance.
These early years are a precious time to begin building a foundation of faith—when children first learn that church is a joyful, safe, and loving place. The Garden Group also gives parents a chance to connect, share, and support one another as their little ones grow in both faith and friendship from the very start.

We’re so glad you’re joining us for the first time! We suggest dressing your child in comfortable clothing, as we love to stay active and play during our time together.
If it’s your first Sunday in The Garden Group, please arrive about 10–15 minutes early. When you arrive, stop by the Discovery Land Welcome Desk to let us know it’s your first time. All children need to be registered in our system, and we’ll collect parent contact details for safety.
Our friendly Discovery Land Welcome Team will guide you through the check-in process, explain how the morning runs, and help you feel at home before we begin worship together.

The Garden Group runs every Sunday during the main service. We begin by joining Discovery Land for their worship time before splitting into our own group for a Bible story, Scripture, and fellowship upstairs.

Yes! Parents are very welcome to stay with their children. The Garden Group is designed to be a space where families can experience the session together, with a short Bible story, Scripture, and fellowship alongside other parents and little ones.

The Garden Group is for children aged 12 months to 3 years old.
It’s the perfect place for little ones to begin learning about God in a playful, nurturing environment before they move up to Discovery Land at age 3. For babies under 12 months, we have a creche area off from the foyer for parents.

No, our Sunday program is free of charge.

Siblings of different ages will attend the group that matches their age. Parents are welcome to stay with younger children in The Garden Group while older children attend Discovery Land.
