Baptism

Baptism at TIC

Baptism is a beautiful and significant moment in the life of every believer. It is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ, an outward expression of the inward change that takes place when we choose to follow Him. At our church, we celebrate baptism with joy, gratitude, and a deep sense of community.

What Baptism Means

Baptism is a symbol of:

  • New Life – It represents being made new in Christ.

  • Cleansing and Forgiveness – It reflects the washing away of our old life and the forgiveness God freely gives.

  • Identification with Jesus – Going under the water symbolises His death and burial; rising again symbolises His resurrection and the new life we now share with Him.

  • Belonging to God’s Family – It marks your public step of faith, witnessed and celebrated by the church community.
