Sunday School

At TIC we have a crèche to care for babies and small children. Once the children are established at nursery or maternelle, they are usually ready to join our Sunday School. We meet on Sunday mornings, staying with the wider church family for the first part of the service, and going out into the Sunday School rooms during the sermon. We often stay together as a group for songs and a prayer, and then split into age-related groups for Bible stories, games and activities. We work mainly in English but most of the staff and children also speak at least some French, and French-speaking children are welcome in our groups.

Over the holidays we combine the groups on a Sunday morning for ‘Holiday Club’ activities, or stay in church with age-appropriate worship and an activity sheet during the sermon.

We enjoy special events, usually with an open invitation to our friends and neighbours. Many people join us for these family-friendly occasions, for example services at Christmas and Easter and a fancy-dress party and colouring competition to coincide with the film ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’.
